5 Tips for Sponsoring Quality People Into Your MLM

Recruiting vast numbers of people for your multi-level marketing (MLM) business is wonderful, but only if those who sign on with you are quality recruits who will benefit your business in the long-term.

You want people who are like-minded, who want to succeed, who are willing to work for that success.

In other words, you want people like you working for you.

Here are five things to consider when you are trying to get someone on board:

1. Welcome skepticism. You are not in the great debate. Remember, you want someone to be skeptical, to ask questions. Someone who asks intelligent questions will likely be a terrific salesperson. Just make certain you have a good answer for all those questions. You must be confident and sound like an expert. And if you’re not certain what the answer to their question is, be honest, make a note of it, and promise to get them the answer. Thank your prospect for their questions.

2. Once they’ve said no thank you, they probably mean it---and why would you want someone on your team who is less than enthusiastic anyway? That “no” may turn into a “yes” given a little time to think things over. But should you feel the need to push, you are putting yourself in the position of looking “desperate.” Guess what? It won’t work and you may lose a recruit that might have been a terrific addition to your team.

3. Chances are your prospect is interested---it’s up to you to determine how interested. They’ve gone to your website, they’ve read up on all the benefits of your MLM, they’ve filled out a query. They’re about to take the bait, but are still concerned there’s more hype than real business. They want to hear about others who have given your MLM a try. If you are confident about your business, this shouldn’t be a problem. Let them know about others who are involved in your MLM. First-hand accounts have incredible value when trying to recruit.

4. When you’re talking to a recruit, try to avoid words that will make them nervous---like “chance of a lifetime” or “greatest opportunity”. Your MLM is a business, so call it that. It’s an investment, not an opportunity. The more you use industry “hype” the more nervous a prospective recruit is going to be. It’s difficult to tone it down when you are enthusiastic about your MLM, but the more professional you act and sound when talking to your prospective recruit, the more comfortable they will be.

5. Be honest about what is involved. Don’t tell them they are going to be rich overnight without lifting a finger. Tell your recruit how hard you work and make sure to let them know how much fun it is. It’s not for everyone. You’re screening people, so feel free to ask them questions about how serious they are about taking this step. Make them want to work for you. Remember, you want quality, not quantity. Okay, you do want quantity. But you want quality quantity. Finding good, solid recruits takes a little bit of effort. But once you put the time and effort in, you’ll find your MLM business growing and your bottom line expanding.

MLM Home Business Tax Benefits Are Abundant

The tax benefits for an MLM home business are the same for any home business---and they can mean a big difference to your bottom line.

According to the IRS, if you use your home to conduct your business, chances are there are numerous tax breaks you can take advantage of. In order to take advantage of these tax benefits at least part of your home must be used regularly and exclusively in the following ways:

1. It must be the principal place of business for your work
2. It must be the place where you meet and deal with clients or customers in the normal course of business
3. If you use a separate structure that is not attached to your home.

It’s important that the place you conduct business is not used for any other purpose than your MLM work. In other words, if you use your den to work in while the kids are in school but use that same room to watch TV in when you are not working, you cannot deduct the expenses used for your business, according to the IRS. That’s why it is important that you set up an area for your business that is used exclusively for that purpose.

If you do, then the tax benefits are substantial. Say, for instance, that your home office represents 10 percent of the total square footage of your home. You can then deduct 10 percent of your utilities, including heat and electric.

Other deductions, according to the IRS, include office equipment, internet service, copying expenses, telephone, and mailing expenses. In addition to that, you can deduct mortgage interest, rent casualty losses, insurance, depreciation, maintenance and repairs as long as it pertains to the office. Taking advantage of these tax breaks can save the business owner thousands in taxes.

Keep in mind, however, that you can’t deduct such expenses as lawn care or money spent on maintaining other parts of the house. No, that kitchen renovation would not be considered a business expense.

Be aware that home-based business tax deductions has become an area where abuse is actively being investigated by the IRS. In fact, the IRS issued a warning to avoid tax scams that claim you can deduct personal expenses simply by claiming you have a home-based business.

Here are some bogus tax deductions that can lead toward a business owner’s nightmare: the dreaded audit.

1. Deducting all or more of the cost of operation of a personal residence.
2. Deducting excessive car and truck expenses when the vehicle is used for personal and business expenses
3. Deducting personal furniture, home entertainment equipment, children’s toys, etc., is not allowed.
4. Deducting personal travel, meals and entertainment under the guise that “everyone is a potential client” is not allowed.

There are plenty of legitimate and worthwhile deductions without having to try to deduct something that might spark an audit. Keep in mind that home businesses are more likely to get a closer look from the IRS, so it’s important that you do nothing to stretch the truth and claim that new high definition TV as a business expense just because you like to take a break and catch a show between sending e-mails.

Quality MLM Prospects Through An MLM Funded Proposal

Copyright © Paul Birdsall, Your Online Success Partner

Finding quality MLM prospects is becoming increasingly expensive and then converting those prospects to sign-ups or sales even more difficult. MLM prospects are often overly skeptical and hesitant to join a new company if they have been ripped off in the past, lost a lot of money, or simply failed to succeed.

The good news is that there is certainly no shortage of people looking for ways to earn extra money and start a home-based business through network or multilevel marketing.

The opportunity is unlimited. The prospects are there and those who are successful in this business find ways to decrease prospecting costs while at the same time increasing sales.

Introducing the MLM funded proposal.

The MLM funded proposal is probably by far one of the most effective tools in a network marketer’s arsenal of marketing strategies.

The funded proposal is simply a lead generation system that turns prospects into committed customers by first selling them an inexpensive product on the front end and then using that product to educate, build a working relationship with, and sell the customer on the bigger MLM opportunity.

In the MLM industry one of the most common front end products to use is an informational product or e-book. These types of products can be produced fairly inexpensively and once created make for pure profit when sold. By selling an informational product (funded proposal) on the front end marketer is able to have the prospects actually cover his or her marketing costs. So therefore essentially the funded proposal is a mechanism for generating extremely low cost or sometimes even profitable leads.

The MLM funded proposal can be a very powerful marketing strategy for targeting those who might already be involved with an MLM opportunity but are not having success or are not happy with the current company they're involved with.

For example you might produce an informational product that is tied to how to be more successful in network marketing or how to find targeted MLM leads. This is a popular topic among an MLM funded proposals because it is one of the most difficult problems facing MLM marketers. Thousands of people are online every day searching for something that is going to help them turn their business into the profitable cash machine they've always dreamed of.

Selling these prospects on how to be successful in their current network marketing business is much easier than selling them on the idea of quitting their current company and signing up with a new MLM company. Therefore they are much more open to paying a low price for an informational product (MLM funded proposal) that promises to help them be more successful.

Once they have purchased your informational product you can start building a relationship with them , not only through the content of e-book, but also through e-mail auto-responder campaigns . Even prospects who have been unsuccessful in the MLM industry before are going to be much more open to following your lead or recommendations on another MLM opportunity after you have built that relationship and credibility.

The MLM funded proposal is your ticket to unlimited targeted MLM leads that have proven that they are willing to spend money on the right opportunity.
